- Siege gameplay
For the first time in Rainbow Six, players will participate in sieges, a totally new style of assault. Enemies can now transform their environments on fortresses: they can create trap, strengthen and create deterrents to prevent invasions of Team Rainbow. To meet this challenge, the players have a level of freedom unmatched by any previous game Rainbow Six. Combining tactical maps, observation drones and a new system of rappelling, Rainbow teams have more options than ever to plan, attack and overcome these situations.
- Anti-terrorism Units
Anti-terrorism agents are trained to deal with extreme situations, such as hostage rescue, with surgical precision. As experts “short range”, their training is concentrated in indoor environments. Destruction is the crux of the gameplay of siege. Players now have the unprecedented ability to destroy environments. The walls can be broken by opening new lines of fire, and the ceiling and the floor can be opened, creating new points of access. Everything in the environment react realistically, dynamics, and based solely on the size and caliber of the bullets that you are using or on the amount of explosives that you chose to use.
